The third annual Food Network New York City Wine & Food Festival presented by Food & Wine and Travel + Leisure takes place October 7-10, 2010 and once again is hosted by and benefits the Food Bank For New York City and Share Our Strength.

Building on the success of the 2008 and 2009 Festivals, the 2010 Festival is set to turn up the heat in New York City this Columbus Day weekend.

Defending U.S. Open Men’s Champion, Juan Martin de Potro ranks seventh in the world, and being from Argentina will no doubt be delighted to see a familiar, quality wine from home being offered as the general concession.

Additionally Norton Barrel Select Malbec will be hand-sold in the Luxury Suites and Private Hospitality areas.

Manu Ginobili of the San Antonio Spurs visited Bodega Norton yesterday (7/21/2010) for a tour and lunch.

Ginobili commented he usually shops at HEB (when in in the U.S.) where Norton Wines represent a steadfast, always in-stock brand.

One of the greatest sports personalities from Argentina, Ginobili knows great Argentinian wine, and makes a point of finding it wherever he is.
