Andrea Wilson is the Social Media Specialist at TGIC Importers.

Formerly a secondary school teacher and an adjunct professor, Andrea has also worked as a freelance writer, a resume analyst, and a development writer and editor. A two-time Trojan, Andrea obtained her master’s degree in professional writing and her bachelor’s degree in humanities from the University of Southern California. However, she didn’t mind working at UCLA’s Mattel Children’s Hospital as a Family Service Specialist (she has had many titles that end in “specialist”) on the Legacy for Children research study. After raising and losing her younger sister to liver cancer, Andrea founded Blue Faery: the Adrienne Wilson Liver Cancer Association. She continues to serve on the board as well as monitor the charity’s website.

In addition to fighting cancer, reading real books, writing her blog, and walking her dog, Andrea is passionate about wine. She particularly enjoys a bold—yet smooth—red blend.
