We are seeking 2 enthusiastic, motivated self-starters to maintain shelf schematic as well as planning/selling of merchandise and displays for our chain stores in theValencia, Palmdale,Pasadena and Riverside, Desert areas. The Candidate must reside in the specific territory of the position they are applying for – stated below.

The following 2 Merchandiser positions are currently available:

• 1 full-time position in the Valencia/Palmdale/Pasadena areas
• 1 part-time position in the Riverside/Desert areas

Direct Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-store demos and hand-sell at applicable chain locations, including setting up table with display of wines and POS material and educating customers on brands.

• Follow TGIC Weekly Schedule and clock in and out daily using Company’s payroll phone module system at designated hours.

• Distribute and install current coupons, neck hangers, shelf talkers, and cross-check pricing on all products sold by Company.

• Inventory, refill and re-merchandise existing displays of product as needed or as instructed by store manager.

• Fill cold box and shelves at account with Company wines as needed or as instructed by store manager.

• Attend store “resets” as requested by Chain Manager and assist store managers with re-organization of the wine section.

• Attend special events for Company and assist in wine pouring of Company wines.

• Report any pricing issues, inventory problems or sales opportunities to Chain Manager.

• Complete Route Card with details of store visits and progress within accounts on a weekly basis and submit to Chain Manager

Qualification Requirements:

• Knowledge of the wine industry and passion for wine is a plus
• Ability to drive frequently and maintain a valid California driver’s license.
• Maintain at all times personal automobile insurance.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Must be available to regularly work Saturdays and Sundays
• Ability to lift, push and pull 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be computer literate and own a computer with internet access.
• Must own a cell phone.
• Must reside in the corresponding territory.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Six months related merchandise and prior grocery store experience preferred.
• Knowledge of retail environment and wine industry is preferred.
