Job Description:

TGIC Importers Inc. is one of the fastest growing importers and wholesalers of fine wine. We are seeking three enthusiastic, motivated self-starters to maintain shelf schematic as well as planning/selling of merchandise and displays for our chain stores. The Candidate must reside in the specific territory stated below. The following six Merchandiser positions are currently open (please note the part-time status):

• 2 part-time positions for the Inland Empire/Desert area
• 1 part-time position for the Ventura/Santa Barbara area

Direct Responsibilities:

• Hand-selling of products to consumers in chain stores
• Establish, maintain and grow relationships with existing customer base
• Conduct occasional wine tastings with consumers
• Merchandising of products including stocking customer shelves, hanging POS materials, building displays etc.

Qualification Requirements:

• Knowledge of the wine industry and passion for wine is a plus
• Must own a computer with internet access
• Must own a cell phone
• Must be computer literate
• Must reside in the corresponding territory
• Clean driving record and valid automobile insurance
• Outgoing and proactive
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Ability to comfortably lift up to 50 lbs.
